Safe Slime Made with Chia Seeds

Playing with slime is a great sensory activity that is beneficial in helping shape child development. It can aid in developing and enhancing memory function, fine motor skills, problem solving skills and social interaction.

You will need
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup cornstarch (more as needed)
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups water, as needed
  • Food colouring, optional
Let’s begin
  1. Mix the chia seeds, water and food colouring together.
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Uncover and add the corn-starch.
