Our Extracurricular Activities

Kids Club Extracurricular Activities

Kids Club Early Learning Centres offer a high-quality Educational Program that focuses on play-based learning. Our program is based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which prioritises children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming.

Children’s learning is comprehensive and intricate, in which it encompasses various aspects, including cognitive, linguistic, physical, social, emotional, spiritual and creative, which are all interconnected and interdependent. To help support that learning journey, Kids Club employs a number of extracurricular activities, working with both our specialised educators and external providers to help underpin the principles of the EYLF.

All Fee-Inclusive

The best part is that all Kids Club extracurricular activities are fee-inclusive. This means that families don’t have to worry about any additional costs or fees associated with participating in our programs. We believe that every child deserves access to quality extracurricular activities, regardless of their family’s financial situation. By offering these programs at no extra cost, we ensure that all children can have the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore their interests in a supportive and enriching environment.

Our extracurricular activities are an integral part of our centre’s operations, and we are proud to offer them as part of our standard enrolment package. Our experienced and dedicated staff work tirelessly to create programs that are both engaging and educational, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop new skills and discover new passions. At Kids Club, we are committed to providing children with the tools they need to succeed in life, and our extracurricular activities are just one of the many ways we achieve this goal.

Centre Specific

At Kids Club, we understand that every child is unique, with their own individual interests, passions, and needs. That’s why we believe in working closely with families and local community groups to develop programs that are tailored to the wants, desires, and needs of the children in our care. Our Centre Directors and Educational Leaders take the time to get to know each child and their family, understanding their individual needs and interests to develop programs that are engaging, challenging, and rewarding.

Our programs are designed to be fully customised to each centre, ensuring that every child has access to extracurricular activities that are specifically tailored to their interests and learning styles. We believe that this personalised approach is essential to ensuring that children feel supported, motivated, and engaged in their learning. By taking the time to understand each child’s unique needs and interests, we are able to develop programs that are not only educational but also fun and enjoyable. Fundamental Programs

As a core, we have found that there are three extracurricular activities that most of our families find the greatest benefit when it comes to expanding their child’s experience at Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres. As a result we have a strong focus on developing and expanding programs around these three areas, which are music, sport and language classes.

Physical Movement and Sports

Taking from the teachings of Physical Literacy, Kids Club focuses on developing multiple physical lessons for the children through creative activities and play-based fundamentals that inspires the children to engage in their own learning journeys. Carefully assessing each child’s development, educators and program partners work with each child on an individual level to help develop the physical skills they need to help with coordination, balance, fine and mass motor skills.

Language and Cultural Studies

More than just learning about a language, all Kids Club children are invited to partake in primary and secondary language courses that teach them about the various cultures of which they are learning about. This helps student not only expand their understanding of language, but also how to better understand the various cultures in our various communities, helping them to become more globally minded citizens. Working in language and writing programs, we help children get ready for their later schooling lives

Musical Theory and Practice

Taking on music lessons helps students beyond just becoming the next musical prodigy. Music helps students understand the fundamentals of counting and helps form the foundations of mathematics, expands listening skills and helps with increased levels of concentration. All Kids Club centres come equiped with various musical facilities and components that can help expand the child’s love of music through engaging equipment that cultivates an  inquisitive nature.
