We aim to provide children with continuity of educators and carers. As a result, the same casual or relief team members are used to maintain consistency for children and their families. Using the same relief team members ensures that each day runs with minimum disruption when providing relief for centre based caregivers, who are ill or on annual leave. This ensures that formed positive relationships and familiar faces, processes and routines remain stable for the children.
Professional standards and ethical principles are crucial in guiding the conduct of educators and team members in decision-making and practice at all services. These standards and principles provide a framework for individuals to ensure that they are meeting the necessary expectations in their roles, and that they are acting in the best interests of those they serve. By adhering to these standards and principles, educators and team members can maintain the trust and confidence of those they serve and ensure that they are providing the best possible services.
