Childcare Curriculum For Your Child’s Education

Educational Philosophy

The Kids Club Philosophy is that at the heart of everything we do, we place the child first.

Our experienced Educators are the cornerstone of our business, and they underpin the philosophy and core values of Kids Club. Studies in conjunction with Harvard University have shown that 90% of a child’s physical brain development happens in the first 5 years of their life. Similar research also shows how these early years greatly effect children’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. When reinforced by a positive learning environment, with highly skilled Educators, this can lead to a significant increase in your child’s learning experience.

The Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a national early childhood education framework. It sets the standards for the educational outcomes and developmental stages that children should achieve before starting primary school. The EYLF emphasises the importance of play-based learning, the development of social and emotional skills, and working collaboratively with families and communities. It is designed to guide Educators in planning and implementing a high-quality program and childcare curriculum that supports children’s learning and development during their early years.

It is based on three core pillars which is foundation to the NQS and Kids Club’s commitment to developing nationally recognised and well-rounded education programs. Kids Club core educational pillars are directly aligned with the three core pillars of the of the EYLF, which are:

Belonging

Belonging is the basis for living a fulfilling life. Children feel they belong because of the relationships they have with their family, community, culture and place within their surroundings.

Kids Club Meditation
Being

Being is about living here and now. Being in the present moment. Childhood is a special time in life and children need time to just ‘be’, time to play, try new things and have fun.

Kids Club Family Fun Day Gosford
Becoming

Becoming is about the learning and development that young children experience. Children start to form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes their later life.

Programming and Planning

Programming and planning at Kids Club forms the cornerstone of your child’s early learning journey.

Each of our centre Directors, working in conjunction with our Educational Leaders and Educators, implement strategies that are designed to specifically help each child grow and develop towards the first steps of their educational life. That is why we have implemented a School Readiness Program that outlines the core framework of how we tailor our learning environments to actively engage each child in their learning journey.

Additional Needs

At Kids Club, we understand that all children have different educational needs. Our rich daycare curriculum provides support and guidance for each child throughout their first five years of education, whatever their circumstances. We also offer additional help to children with higher needs for support in education and care.

Our caring Educators are qualified in providing speciality support services for children with disabilities, behavioural concerns, speech delays and additional needs autism. If you have concerns about your child, speak with our team about implementing a unique program and plan to support them.

Kids Club Early Learning Centres firmly believes that collaborative partnerships with families and the broader community play a vital role in children's growth and development. We prioritise establishing meaningful connections with families and honouring their cultural and personal values, expectations, and viewpoints. We also actively engage with the local community to enhance our collective knowledge and skills, ensuring the best learning experiences for our children.

When a child requires additional support services, we prioritise their well-being and work collaboratively with the family to fulfill their specific needs. Our team is committed to advocating for all children and supporting families throughout their child's enrolment.

We recognise that families are an integral part to their child's learning journey and offer them various opportunities to participate and share ideas in their education. Our partnerships are grounded in mutual respect, effective communication, and shared responsibility for the child's development. Our program aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), prioritising children's sense of belonging, being, and becoming. Additionally, we provide exciting extracurricular activities designed to spark children's passion for learning.

We value our families' feedback and offer several avenues for them to provide input on our services, including online surveys, verbal communication with our Directors and Educators, and attending family events throughout the year. We believe that this feedback is crucial to our continuous improvement efforts and enables us to provide the best possible care for our children.
