Kids Club Collins Street is a purpose-built early learning centre that offers a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Located within the flagship Olderfleet tower, our centre connects with fellow Melburnians who seek to inspire, connect and nurture with their city.
Our play-based curriculum is based on the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework, Australia’s national curriculum for early childhood education. Our dedicated and passionate team of Educators uphold a strong foundation for lifelong learning who endeavour to promote positive outcomes for children’s well-being and development.
Kids Club Collins St offers a central location in Melbourne, with trams at the foot of our front door and stops just a short walk away. We also provide parking zones reserved exclusively for families, with 20-minute parking available for ease of drop-off and pick-up. Our commitment to high-quality care and education has made us a top choice for families in the Melbourne CBD. Additionally, our location is easily accessible by public transport and is situated in between Flinders St Station and Southern Cross Station, making it convenient for families who commute or travel within the city.
Kids Club Kindergarten Program is an approved program by the Victorian State Government as an educational platform for children intending to start school the following year (child must be 4 by the 30th of April). As an approved Kinder provider, parents can receive up to a $2,000 credit against preschool fees through this Victorian Government initiative.
Designed and run by our experienced early childhood teachers, they work on a transition-based program designed to prepare children for school through effective learning principles. With foundations in building positive relationships, identifying and working with emotions, creating personal identity and promoting wellbeing, our curriculum is based on the Kids Club core pillars, developed from the National Quality Framework as set by ACECQA.
Integrated into the long day care setting, the rooms are designed to resemble a kindergarten environment. During school terms, children spend the full day with the same educator, a few days a week, based on a 15 hour per week allocation. If care is required outside of these periods, your child remains in their allocated age room, so that they continue to receive the full benefits of Kids Club’s programs.
Kids Club centres provide absolutely everything your child needs to be comfortable all day, making the transition from home to daycare much easier. Check the video below to see everything included in your fees.
We transition children in our rooms based on their developmental needs.
Our daily fees are based on your child’s age group, they are all-inclusive: you will not have to pay any extra costs.

Hello everyone, my name is Francisca. I have my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Care and I have been in the Early Childhood Sector for over 10 years. I found my passion in early childhood education and care through personal experiences throughout my life and once pursued I never looked back. I have grown from working as a Diploma casual, Lead Educator, 3IC and right through to management roles.
I believe the first five years of a child’s life is vital and it is where we as Educators can make an impact, which gives me pride to be a part of a child’s development and learning. I believe building those relationships with the families help make that impact on a child’s life much more significant therefore collaboration with families is a connection I also take pride in. Having a curriculum that is child led and based on the children’s interest is what high quality education looks like. Receiving feedback and input from families help implement this high quality education and I feel this happens from the connection you make the moment that family walks in for their tour.
I have a loving partner, Dave, and we have 2 children of our own as well, our daughter Vienna who is 9 and our son Jack who is 4. Having a family of my own I understand when a family is putting their child in the hands of our educators and I can appreciate the feelings that families go through, so I want to make that transition as smooth as possible by working with you and your child.
I look forward to meeting all my families, children and building those relationships from the start.
At Kids Club we have certain room routines that educators follow. The routine will vary, depending on current events and activities. Having a routine in each of the rooms allows for smoother transitions into new activities, meals and rest time. The routine is available to families so you are aware of what your child is doing at certain times.
The day starts with family grouping sessions where breakfast is served. Here is when you can say goodbye to your little one. After breakfast, your child has time to play and learn at their own pace.
At this time of the morning, other children are still arriving, so the educators offer children different activities to engage in. The activities are purposefully selected to encourage our learning through play framework.
We then begin to transition into morning tea. After washing their hands your child will sit down where they choose and be served morning tea from the menu. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal.
Depending on the weather, your child will be offered to play indoors/outdoors for free playtime. This is where educators can make observations of what your child likes to do. During this time we also hold group activities with the children.
From 12 pm we begin to transition to lunchtime. Once your child’s hands are washed they will choose a seat where a hot lunch will be served to them. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal.
Sleep or rest time after lunch your child will have a rest in a peaceful tranquil room with educators patting if requested. If your child does not require sleep, they will take part in quiet activities such as reading.
After your child wakes up, afternoon tea will be served. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal. We encourage our toddlers and preschoolers to serve themselves their own afternoon tea.
Depending on the weather, your child will be offered to play indoors/outdoors for free playtime. This is where educators can make observations of what your child likes to do and prepare for future planned experiences based on interests.
Planned afternoon learning experiences. During this time we will engage your child in activities that are slightly more structured and educator-led. For example, yoga classes, painting lessons, group play and group learning moments.
The Rainforest Room caters for babies. It provides a calm and caring home-like environment with carefully planned learning areas and their own outdoor playground.
The Ocean Room provides our toddlers with a welcoming, inspiring environment and the opportunity to explore and influence their own experiences and learning.
Our acclaimed School Readiness Program aims to increase our preschoolers’ independence, encourage them to follow their interests and create their own learning.
Kids Club Early Childhood Learning has been awarded and recognised for a range of their expertise. Including rated Exceeding in the National Quality Standards in several of the centres in NSW.
As well as the NSW Business Chamber Startup Superstar Award and an Excellence in Construction award for our beautifully built centres.
We provide each child the opportunity to harness their own unique learning styles within each of our centres, where our learning programs encourage stimulating and engaging experiences and enhance each child’s learning. Our program nurtures the development of life skills and complements children’s learning experiences within the centre, at home, and in the community.
The Australian Government provides families with financial assistance to help cover the costs of approved child care – the Child Care Subsidy.
Since 2 July 2018, Australia has a new child care package. Under the new package, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) replaces the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate. CCS is the main way the Government assists families with their child care fees.

The transition for children into child care is an important milestone for children and families. This transition can be challenging and emotional for both the parent and the child. Therefore, we offer you this information to help the transition process.
We invite families to come for orientation the week before they start: stay in the centre with your child, meet the Educators and make yourself familiar with the routines prior to your child’s first day. This assists you and your children to feel more at ease and comfortable with the new environment.
