Try these delicious healthy treats. Unlike regular cocoa powder these balls are made from cold pressing cocoa beans to remove the fat. It’s a good source of antioxidants, magnesium and iron. Prep Time: 10 minutes. Makes: 20 cacao balls.
You will need
- 130g dates
- 70f pecan nuts
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1/2 tbsp agave syrup
- Put the pecan nuts into a food processor, until you have fine crumbs
- Add the remaining ingredients and whiz until very finely chopped and the mixture has come together
- Shape in 20 balls and roll in extra cacao powder
- Chill on a plate in the fridge
