Magical Flowers Science Experiment

This fun science experiment helps children learn how plants and flowers absorb water through its stem and upwards to the flower head and leaves. This experiment is easy to do at home and kids love to observe the flowers change into beautiful bright colours.

You will need

• White towers
• Liquid food coloring in a variety of colors

Let’s begin

1. To start you will want to trim down the stems of the flower so they flt your cups or jars.
2. Add water to each cup.
3. Then put about 10-15 drops of food coloring in the water and stir around a bit.
4. Add at least one flower to each glass of colored water.
5. Check in on the flowers every couple of hours and observe any changes.
