Kids Club to Transition 18 Centres to Affinity Education Group

Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres to Transition 18 Centres to Affinity Education Group

Sydney, Australia – 27 March 2023

Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres, a trusted name in the early education industry for over 20 years, has announced the exciting transition of 18 of its operating centres to Affinity Education Group, effective from 27 March 2023.

The 18 locations transitioning to Affinity Education Group are located across Queensland, ACT, New South Wales and Victoria. This will see the Stone Group retain ownership of the remaining centres currently in operation or under development*.

“Our top priority during this transition is the well-being of the children,” said Corie Stone, Co-Founder & CEO of Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres.

“We know that Affinity’s commitment to quality, safety, early education, and their core values align with ours… Finding that synergy was a big part of our decision-making process. We are excited for the future of these centres under Affinity’s leadership,” he said.

After more than 20 years in the industry, founders, Corie and Sally Stone said the decision to transition the centres out of the portfolio had been difficult, and noted that throughout their time in the industry, their personal and family lives have come at a great sacrifice.

“The sale of these centres will allow for them to be transitioned to Affinity who will be able to continue to provide the same level of dedication to families and staff, while allowing us to go back to prioritising and dedicating ourselves to what we have spent so much time trying to build for members of our communities; our family,” stated Sally Stone, Co-Founder of Kids Club.

In a message direct to families, Mrs Stone thanked them for their support and the trust  placed in the Kids Club brand to care for their precious children.

“We have loved every minute of our journey together and take great pride in knowing that we have created a caring and engaging learning environment for your children,” she said.

“That is why we searched long and hard to find a diligent operator that we knew could continue to service our families in the best possible way,” Corie Stone explained.

Affinity has confirmed that current daily session fees will remain unchanged at the transition. All 18 centres transitioning to Affinity will be rebranded within an agreed period of time.

*In Queensland, Kids Club Child Care Centres transitioning to Affinity are located at Taigum, Arana Hills, Darra Station, Redbank Plains, Runcorn and Kedron.
