Former Early Childhood Educator and a mum to 2 beautiful and very active boys. Joining Kids Club 2 years ago, starting as one of our Senior Service Administrators, Jessica now supports all of our centres as the Marketing Executive of Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres.
Kids Club Hamilton recently hosted its highly anticipated Family Fun Day, welcoming families and children from the local community to enjoy a day filled with entertainment and excitement. The event, held at Kids Club Hamilton, a renowned provider of premium quality Early Childhood Education and Care services, marked a triumphant return to community gatherings after our last successful Family Fun Day early last year.
The excitement was palpable as the leadership team arrived bright and early at the centre to kickstart the setup process. Under the adept leadership of centre Director Melanie Aavik, Assistant Director Holly Solo, and Area Manager Paula Wright, the team demonstrated remarkable cohesion and dedication, ensuring a seamless and brilliant day for all.
Reflecting on the 9 months, centre Director Melanie Aavik expressed her satisfaction with the team’s progress: “Working at Kids Club Hamilton for the past year has been incredibly rewarding. We have re-evaluated our centre’s vision, goals, and values, and have really come together as a team, working with each of our strengths to grow, learn, and upskill.”
Doors opened promptly at 8:30am, with eager families queuing up, ready for a day filled with adventure. Excited children adorned in Bluey and Bingo attire eagerly awaited the Live Interactive Experiences scheduled for 9, 10, and 11am.
The Live Interactive Experiences featuring Bluey, Bingo, and their entourage were the highlight of the day, captivating children and adults alike. Attendees marvelled at the lively performances, with many noting the thrill of joining in dancing, singing, and playing interactive games with their favourite characters as well as catching the oversized balls bouncing around the crowd. Parents were equally entertained, sharing that they enjoyed the show as much as their children did.
In between the Live Interactive Experiences, families explored the outdoor yard, where children engaged in various activities, from playing in the aeroplane to building sandcastles in the sandpit and showcasing their ninja skills as they climbed the nets into the cubby houses. The talented face painters and balloon twisters impressed with their creations, ranging from superheroes to butterflies, unicorns, and dinosaurs, adding to the anticipation and festive atmosphere.
The eatery bustled with activity as families savoured an array of treats, including fairy floss, popcorn, ice cream, and the hot deal charity BBQ by Queensland Rural Fire Services. Parents seized the opportunity to engage with fire service personnel, discussing fire safety and allowing children to explore the fire truck.
With a remarkable turnout, families also expressed interest in touring the facility, eager to learn more about Kids Club Hamilton’s offerings, educational curriculum and school readiness programs.
The event’s success was made possible by the generous support of local businesses, which provided giveaways for families to enjoy. Kids Club extends heartfelt thanks to all the businesses that contributed to the event’s success.
The Family Fun Day at Kids Club Hamilton was a resounding success, underscoring the dedication and commitment of the Kids Club team in providing a safe, nurturing environment for children while delivering high-quality educational programs.
