The Kids Club Family Fun Day in Newtown was an overwhelming success, with children, families, and the local community coming together to enjoy a day of entertainment and activities. The event was organised by Kids Club, a leading provider of premium quality Early Childhood Education and Care services in Australia and it was evident how rewarding this Family Fun Day was to the team after the centre recently underwent extensive renovations to both the interior and exterior.
“I am thrilled to see the success of our Family Fun Day event at Kids Club Newtown,” shared Co-Founder and CEO, Corie Stone. “It was wonderful to finally showcase our beautiful centre, which we have put so much love and hard work into during the extensive renovation period. At Kids Club, we strive to provide a warm and supportive environment for our families, and events like these only strengthen our bond with the community.”
With doors having only opened the week leading up to the Family Fun Day event, families poured through the centre in awe of the transformation, with many captivated by the custom designs featured in the play spaces and learning environments, all built in-house by the Kids Club Team.
In comparison, the highlight of the day was the Live Interactive Bluey experiences, which left the children, parents, and staff alike thrilled and excited! The crowd experienced their beloved characters come to life, with Bluey and Bingo keeping the children entertained and enthralled throughout the festivities.
During the show, the children and their families were invited to join Bluey and Bingo by dancing, singing and playing interactive games with the crowd. The four live shows had the children delighted to see their favourite blue heelers visit their local community – for real!
In addition to the live shows, the event also had fairy floss, face painting, ice cream, balloon twisting, and access to bespoke playscapes for our guests to explore.
Kids Club Newtown was proud to partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charity by way of providing a gold coin sausage sizzle, “which held a special place in the staff’s heart,” explained centre Director Courtney Faneco, with all proceeds going to support the charity. The event was an opportunity to show support for a charity that creates, finds, and supports programs that directly impact the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
Courtney shared, “We were excited to finally reopen our doors at Kids Club Newtown and share our beautiful centre with the community. Our Family Fun Day was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our amazing facility while also hosting an event for families, featuring the beloved Bluey & Bingo show. It was heart-warming to witness the joy on the faces of the children and their families. This is exactly why we are passionate about what we do.”
The event was made possible by the support of local businesses who generously provided resources and giveaways for the lucky families. Kids Club would like to extend a huge special thanks to all the local businesses who helped support the event!
