The Kids Club Philosophy is that at the heart of everything we do, we place the child first.
Our experienced Educators are the cornerstone of our business, and they underpin the philosophy and core values of Kids Club. Studies in conjunction with Harvard University have shown that 90% of a child’s physical brain development happens in the first 5 years of their life. Similar research also shows how these early years greatly effect children’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. When reinforced by a positive learning environment, with highly skilled Educators, this can lead to a significant increase in your child’s learning experience.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in an environment that inspires confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning. Our seven Educational Pillars form the foundation of the Kids Club approach, bringing together the principles of the National Quality Standard into a practical framework that guides every experience, every interaction and every opportunity to learn.
Every child learns differently, which is why our educational program is shaped by each child’s interests, strengths and stage of development. Through play, exploration and intentional teaching, our Educators create meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, encourage curiosity and develop the skills children need for school and beyond.
NQS Quality Area 1: Educational Program and Practice
A child’s wellbeing is the foundation for learning, growth and confidence. Through nutritious meals prepared by our in-house Chefs, active play and a strong focus on physical and emotional wellbeing, we create an environment where children feel safe, supported and ready to thrive every day.
NQS Quality Area 2: Children’s Health and Safety
Children learn best in environments that inspire exploration and imagination. Our premium indoor and outdoor learning spaces have been purposefully designed to encourage creativity, confidence and discovery, giving every child the freedom to learn through play in a safe, engaging and stimulating environment.
NQS Quality Area 3: Physical Environment
Positive relationships are at the heart of every child’s learning journey. Our experienced Educators take the time to understand each child’s unique personality, strengths and interests, creating meaningful connections that foster confidence, belonging and a lifelong love of learning. Through ongoing professional development and a shared commitment to quality, they provide the guidance and support every child needs to thrive.
NQS Quality Area 4: Staffing Arrangements
Strong relationships help children feel safe, confident and ready to learn. Our Educators create nurturing environments where every child feels seen, heard and valued, encouraging meaningful connections that build confidence, resilience and a genuine sense of belonging.
NQS Quality Area 5: Relationships with Children
Children thrive when families and Educators work together. We value genuine partnerships with families, creating open communication and shared experiences that support every child’s learning journey. Through meaningful connections with our local communities, children develop a strong sense of belonging, inclusion and respect for the world around them.
NQS Quality Area 6: Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities
Exceptional care starts with exceptional leadership. Our commitment to continuous improvement ensures every Kids Club centre is guided by best practice, ongoing professional growth and a shared vision of providing the highest standard of education and care for every child.
NQS Quality Area 7: Governance and Leadership
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and accepted. At Kids Club, we create a welcoming environment where children build meaningful relationships with their Educators, peers and families, fostering a strong sense of belonging, confidence and connection to the world around them.
Every child deserves the time and freedom to play, explore and enjoy the wonder of childhood. Through meaningful experiences and child-led learning, we encourage children to embrace the present, build confidence and discover the joy of learning every day.
Every experience in early childhood helps shape who a child becomes. Through play, exploration and meaningful learning opportunities, we nurture confidence, resilience and independence, empowering children to develop the skills they need for school, life and beyond.
Every child follows their own unique learning journey. Our Educators thoughtfully plan experiences around each child’s interests, strengths and stage of development, creating meaningful opportunities to build confidence, curiosity and the skills they need for school and beyond.
Working together, our Educators, Educational Leaders and Centre Directors regularly observe, reflect and adapt each child’s learning program, ensuring every experience remains engaging, purposeful and responsive as children grow.
Our School Readiness Program provides a clear pathway for children to develop the confidence, independence and foundational skills they need for a successful transition to school and beyond.
We know how important it is to feel connected to your child’s early learning journey. Through the OWNA app, families can access real-time updates, photos and important information throughout the day, wherever they are.
Updates include meals, sleep, bottles, nappy changes, learning experiences, daily room updates and special moments, giving you a window into your child’s day and the opportunity to celebrate their learning and development together.
Absolutely. Children’s learning is celebrated throughout our centres through displays of their artwork, projects, photos and learning documentation. These displays showcase each child’s interests, achievements and progress, making their learning journey visible while creating a welcoming environment that reflects their ideas, creativity and growth.
Each room at Kids Club follows a flexible daily routine that provides children with a balance of learning, play, rest and care throughout the day. Our routines are thoughtfully designed to suit each age group while supporting children’s development, wellbeing and individual needs.
For our youngest children, we work closely with families to follow home routines for feeding, sleeping and care wherever possible, helping to create a smooth and comforting transition between home and the centre.
Nutritious food plays an important role in every child’s growth, development and wellbeing. That’s why all meals at Kids Club are freshly prepared by our in-house Chefs using quality ingredients and are designed to meet the Australian Dietary Guidelines for children.
Our rotating seasonal menu includes breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, catering for individual dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences. Every meal is designed to nourish growing bodies while encouraging healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime.

Our Educators are at the heart of everything we do. Every Kids Club centre is staffed by qualified and experienced early childhood professionals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Staffing ratios are maintained in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the regulatory requirements for each state or territory, ensuring children receive the supervision, support and care they need throughout the day.
To provide the highest standard of education and care, our Educators participate in ongoing professional development, mentoring and training, continually strengthening their knowledge, skills and early childhood practice.
We value strong partnerships with families and believe open communication is essential to every child’s success. Families are encouraged to be actively involved in their child’s learning through regular updates, conversations with Educators and opportunities to provide feedback.
