Kids Club Kedron is a purpose-built early learning centre that your children will love! Located on the ground floor of a residential building, this brand new centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and offers a positive and engaging learning environment. Our passionate carers aim to provide them with the best start to their future with our holistic Education for Life program that encompasses the whole child.
Our philosophy is inspired by the Reggio Emilia education system:
Kids Club Kedron has a basement car park for easy drop-offs and pick-ups.
9 hour sessions are also available at Kids Club Kedron.
The Kids Club Kindergarten Program is an approved program by the Queensland State Government as an educational platform for children intending to start school the following year (child must be 4 by June 30). As an Approved Kindergarten provider, parents can receive a discount (if eligible) against preschool fees through this Queensland Government initiative.
Designed and run by our experienced early childhood teachers, they follow the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines which are designed to prepare children for school through effective learning principles. With foundations in building positive relationships, identifying, and working with emotions, creating personal identity, and promoting wellbeing, our curriculum is based on the Kids Club core pillars, developed from the National Quality Framework as set by ACECQA.
Integrated into the long day care setting, the rooms are designed to resemble a kindergarten environment. During school terms, children spend each day with the same teacher who provides a minimum of 5 hours per day of teaching in accordance with the Guidelines. The educational program continues outside of these periods so that your child receives the full benefit of Kids Club’s exceptional learning programs.
Kids Club centres provide absolutely everything your child needs to be comfortable all day, making the transition from home to daycare much easier. Check the video below to see everything included in your fees.
We transition children in our rooms based on their developmental needs.
Our daily fees are based on your child’s age group, they are all-inclusive: you will not have to pay any extra costs.
The daily fees before the Child Care Subsidy are as follows:

Hello to all the Kids Club families and children! My name is Jessica and I’m excited to join the Kids Club team and open the new Kedron child care centre!
I have enjoyed working in the childcare industry for over 15 years and as a director of 3 high-quality services for the past 9 years. I have two young boys of my own (who are my world) so I genuinely understand the importance of providing a safe and loving high-quality care and education to children in their early years. I also have a passion for personal physical health and wellbeing, which has sparked and continuously motivated my interest in children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive development and the importance of these skills.
I believe that by providing children with stimulating environments, activities and the autonomy to make choices in their educational setting, they can grow to become strong confident individuals ready for future school years and life ahead.
Looking forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to Kids Club Kedron!
At Kids Club we have certain room routines that educators follow. The routine will vary, depending on current events and activities. Having a routine in each of the rooms allows for smoother transitions into new activities, meals and rest time. The routine is available to families so you are aware of what your child is doing at certain times.
The day starts with family grouping sessions where breakfast is served. Here is when you can say goodbye to your little one. After breakfast, your child has time to play and learn at their own pace.
At this time of the morning, other children are still arriving, so the educators offer children different activities to engage in. The activities are purposefully selected to encourage our learning through play framework.
We then begin to transition into morning tea. After washing their hands your child will sit down where they choose and be served morning tea from the menu. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal.
Depending on the weather, your child will be offered to play indoors/outdoors for free playtime. This is where educators can make observations of what your child likes to do. During this time we also hold group activities with the children.
From 12 pm we begin to transition to lunchtime. Once your child’s hands are washed they will choose a seat where a hot lunch will be served to them. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal.
Sleep or rest time after lunch your child will have a rest in a peaceful tranquil room with educators patting if requested. If your child does not require sleep, they will take part in quiet activities such as reading.
After your child wakes up, afternoon tea will be served. If your child has dietary requirements they will be served an alternate meal. We encourage our toddlers and preschoolers to serve themselves their own afternoon tea.
Depending on the weather, your child will be offered to play indoors/outdoors for free playtime. This is where educators can make observations of what your child likes to do and prepare for future planned experiences based on interests.
Planned afternoon learning experiences. During this time we will engage your child in activities that are slightly more structured and educator-led. For example, yoga classes, painting lessons, group play and group learning moments.
"Our son has been at Kids Club Kedron for 4 months now and he absolutely loves going. Each of the rooms and play areas are set up beautifully, there are many activities for the kids to choose from whether they are indoors crafting or outdoors playing in the sandpit or on the pirate ship. The Educators are amazing and genuinely care for the children which is all we as parents really want while our kids are away from us! They always make the time to chat about how my son's day has been. We also love that Kids Club has it's own app where the Educators can post photos and stories from the day. We find this great as we can then talk to our son about the activities he has done that day and he loves seeing his photos. We are very happy we choose Kids Club Kedron for our son!"Donna, Kids Club Kedron Parent
"Simply the best child care centre on the Northside! We switched our toddler from another centre and the progress he has made in the last 2 months at this new centre has been incredible. The staff are the most attentive you will ever find and there's a very low staff turnover rate (unlike at his old centre). The outdoor space is wonderful and the activities/ learning experiences so well thought out. Thank you Kids Club Kedron!"Mikayla, Kids Club Kedron Parent
"Our daughter started at Kids Club when she was 5.5months and we have been really happy with the care and education provided. The app is great and allows me to check in and see how she's going throughout the day. There is a real family/community vibe and we are so grateful for the wonderful educators who make it so reassuring to drop our little one off."Day, Kids Club Kedron Parent
"Cannot rate our experience at Kids Club any higher. Our 2 children have attended Kids Club full time for over a year and we have had a wonderfully positive experience. The educators, particularly the Lead Educators in the rooms have always been so accommodating, attentive, welcoming, and caring. The Director, Jess, has exceeded our expectations in regards to communication, and always making herself available to talk through any issues. When I asked my 5yo if she had any feedback for Kids Club, her response was "I just love this place. It's just so loving." I would highly recommend Kids Club to any parent or carer who is looking for a centre with an abundance of resources, engaged educators, and an array of activities and experiences. The weekly sports and music classes, regular Bush Kindy excursions, and the creativity and care that is consistently provided by the educators, all contributes to making Kids Club an exceptional daycare centre."Samantha, Kids Club Kedron Parent

The Australian Government provides families with financial assistance to help cover the costs of approved child care – the Child Care Subsidy.
Since 2 July 2018, Australia has a new child care package. Under the new package, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) replaces the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate. CCS is the main way the Government assists families with their child care fees.

The transition for children into child care is an important milestone for children and families. This transition can be challenging and emotional for both the parent and the child. Therefore, we offer you this information to help the transition process.
We invite families to come for orientation the week before they start: stay in the centre with your child, meet the educators and make yourself familiar with the routines prior to your child’s first day. This assists you and your children to feel more at ease and comfortable with the new environment.
