Additional Childcare Subsidy (ACCS) is available for:

  • Temporary Financial Hardship
  • Families Returning to Work
  • Grandparent Carers

Temporary Financial Hardship

The Additional Childcare Subsidy (ACCS) is designed to support families experiencing significant temporary financial hardship due to unique circumstances such as recent job loss, caring for an ill family member, or the recent loss of a family member. If you’re eligible, the extra support means your child can still attend the centre, and Kids Club can continue to support your family with care when most in need.

Families Returning to Work

This Government support payment is for families currently receiving Jobseeker or parenting payments, training, re-skilling or returning to work. This support payment can pay up to 95% of your childcare feels whilst you get back to work or are studying or training to find new work.

Grandparent (Carers) on Income Support

For grandparents who receive income support and are caring for a grandchild (65% of the time) may be eligible for the Additional Childcare Subsidy (ACCS) support payment.

Our girl joined Kids Club Kensington early this year. We and she absolutely love it there. Every time we go it has a lovely, calm and happy vibe about it.
