Families from Paddington and surrounding suburbs came together to celebrate the opening of Kids Club Paddington Early Learning Centre, a new childcare centre in Paddington Brisbane, at 11 Guthrie St.
With hundreds of families visiting throughout the day – many travelling from nearby suburbs like Red Hill, Bardon, Milton, Rosalie, Ashgrove and Auchenflower – the event was a true community celebration of early education in Brisbane’s inner west.
The highlight for many children was the chance to enjoy meet and greets with Bluey and Bingo, along with a full day of family fun, centre tours and community connection.
Our Family Fun Day marked an important moment for the Paddington community. Kids Club Paddington is a purpose‑built early learning centre, designed from the ground up to give Brisbane children the very best start to life.
We were honoured to welcome Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Federal Member for Brisbane Madonna Jarrett to the event. Their visit highlighted the importance of high‑quality early education and the vital role our service plays for local families.
As Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner shared on the day, Kids Club Paddington is “built by locals for locals” and dedicated to shaping those crucial early years and giving Brisbane’s youngest minds the best start in life.
During the Family Fun Day, families were invited to tour our beautiful new centre and explore the learning environments their children will enjoy every day. Kids Club Paddington offers:
One parent summed it up perfectly, sharing that he “cannot believe a centre looks this good – never in his wildest dreams could he pull together the interior, design and play spaces as well as Kids Club. It’s one of the best centres he has toured in the area and he has been happy to wait for our first day to attend.”
