Why Gross Motor Skills Matter

Gross motor skills involve the large muscles in the body, helping children with activities like running, jumping, balancing and, of course, dancing! Building these skills is crucial for children’s physical development, coordination and confidence. Through dancing, children also develop rhythm, spatial awareness and the ability to follow instructions—all while having a blast.
