Educational Program and Practice
We support your child’s unique development with tailored learning experiences that ignite a lifelong love for learning. Using a child-led approach, our educational program includes a range of activities that are fun and enhance a child’s cognitive and emotional development – like interactive storytelling, hands-on creative projects and imaginative play.
Using inspirational rooms and playscapes as a base for play-led learning, children are stimulated and engaged to learn, taking on essential life skills during this critical stage in their early years development. With a robust School Readiness program, and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), your child will come away from Kids Club confident and fully prepared for their next learning stage.

Children’s Health & Safety
As a parent, you will be confident in knowing that we put your child’s well-being first, and this begins with providing a secure environment that adheres to strict health and safety standards. All our centres are well maintained, cleaned frequently and have a ‘no smoking’ policy for optimum hygiene. Staff undergo first aid certification and learn how and when to initiate accident and emergency procedures.
As part of prioritising your child’s health, we provide nutritional meals all day, prepared onsite by our in-house chefs. The children get plenty of physical exercise through play and activities such as yoga and dancing – and, rest assured, with lots of time spent outdoors, Kids Club follows the SunSmart initiative (shirt, sunscreen, hat, shade and sunnies).

Physical Environment
The Kids Club environment is about more than safety; our facilities are designed for creativity too! We have become known for our premium, award-winning playscapes that are completely unique, developed in-house, and purpose-built to encourage early learning. The creativity continues in our indoor environment, where we have flexible, open spaces suitable for both child-led and teacher-guided activities, as well as individual and group play.
Our resources, materials and equipment are handpicked to ensure play-based learning, and encourage children to explore, solve problems, create and construct. You can rest easy knowing that you’re entrusting your child to an environment that evokes their imagination, supports their overall development and keeps them safe.

Staffing Arrangements
Our team consists of highly qualified educators, centre directors and support staff who are deeply committed to providing your child with an incredible learning experience. Educators are qualified professionals with a Certificate III or Diploma in early childhood education, and continue their professional growth through peer mentoring, shared learning and ongoing training.
We also conduct regular workshops to ensure our educational leaders and directors keep up-to-date with the latest research and apply it to our early years programs. Not to forget the wider team – the qualified in-house chefs who make your child’s nutritious meals each day and the maintenance team on hand for repairs and keeping the environment ship-shape and safe.

Relationships with Children
Children learn best when they feel secure and this underpins our approach to providing outstanding early years education. By establishing secure and nurturing relationships with our children, they gain the confidence to explore and engage in learning while advancing their communication skills.
Through structured group activities and play-based experiences, each child learns from their peers as well as their educators, and we use buddy systems and leadership roles as methods to build their confidence and enhance social skills. Your child will feel safe and supported at Kids Club, helping them to develop deeper relationships with others as they progress physically, emotionally and socially.

Collaborative Partnerships with Families & Communities
It’s one thing to talk about an open-door policy and another to live by it, but at Kids Club, we mean it when we say parents are welcome any time. It’s just another way of ensuring we keep in regular contact with our families and strengthening partnerships, on top of scheduled parent-educator meetings and daily check-ins when it’s home time.
Other ways we maintain strong connections with the Kids Club family include hosting seasonal events like our Halloween parties and participating in wider community celebrations like Red Nose Day. We are committed to promoting social, environmental, and economic sustainability, and lead by example to embody diversity, inclusivity, and empathy in our teachings in and beyond the classroom.

Governance & Leadership
Effective leadership involves listening, acting and continuously improving our care and education, and this is one of our strongest points as an organisation. We do this by offering multiple feedback mechanisms for parents – newsletters, notice boards, a mobile app and face-to-face – and regularly meet internally to review and implement changes when needed.
It allows our team of carefully selected professionals and experienced educators the opportunity to constantly refine our practices based on community and family input, delivering an exceptional learning experience. Ongoing staff evaluations ensure each Kids Club worker is supported, developing professionally and applying best practices in early years education.
