Fluffy Sand Foam

Follow this  simple recipe to create sand foam at home! Children will enjoy putting their hands and fingers  into the fluffy, grainy mixture. Add some small toys to encourage imaginative play or practice drawing shapes and letters in the sand.

You will need

• Sand
• Shaving cream
• Large tray

Let’s begin

1. Start of by adding 2 cups of sand to the large tray.
2. Add shaving cream gradually and mix using your hands until you have the desired consistency.
3. Add toys such as trucks or small animals to encourage imaginative play. Or add some seashells to recreate a small beach.
4. Ask your child how the consistency feels on their hands, experiment by adding more sand or more shaving cream to change its consistency.
