At Kids Club, we love getting creative. Creating art with shadow and light are one of our favourites as it’s simple and straightforward, yet so fun! This is a great activity to explain the concept of how shadows and light work to preschool children and to inspire them to create some amazing artworks.

What you will need:

Leaves
Trees
nature

Method/Steps

Go for a walk in your garden or par. Look at the ground and see what shadows you can see. Collect some leaves, sticks etc for painting.

Final Words or Additional Information

During the weekend, you may wish to slow down, laying down on a grass with your child. You may watch the floating clouds and trees, rediscover more lights-and-shadows-art with your child. Let’s cherish and blossom their curiosities together, and live at the present with them.
